HPLC and Mass Spectrometry Purity Verification | Biscayne Science

The floor this site states

Biscayne Science holds a hard purity floor of at least 99.0% by HPLC on every compound, with mass-spectrometry confirmation of identity. An accredited third-party lab performs the work. Results are available as a lot-matched Certificate of Analysis on request.

What those two methods answer

HPLC estimates the chromatographic purity of the main peak. Mass spectrometry checks that the molecular weight matches the labeled compound. Together they address whether the vial is mostly the molecule named on the label. Endotoxin is a separate result, described on the endotoxin note. Each batch is also tested for sterility. We do not publish chromatograms on this page, and we do not name the laboratory.

The homepage shows an illustrative certificate for a BPC-157 example at 99.4% HPLC. That figure demonstrates the report layout. It is not the result for a vial you receive. Request the COA for your lot.

Questions researchers ask

What does at least 99% HPLC mean here?

It is the purity floor Biscayne Science states for every compound, measured by HPLC and reported for the lot on the Certificate of Analysis.

Does the homepage 99.4% figure apply to my vial?

No. That percentage is an illustration of a report. Your lot has its own result on the certificate you request.

Is identity the same test as purity?

No. HPLC is the purity measurement. Mass spectrometry confirms identity. Both are part of the batch report.
